Information we collect about you

The information we learn from customers help us to personalise and continually improve your shopping experience with Save Water Save Money. In order to fulfill orders and reduce the risk of fraud, Save Water Save Money must ask you to provide some personal information about yourself, including your credit or debit card and/or bank account details at checkout. We use the information to handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers and update our records.

We also use this information to improve our store and platform, prevent or detect fraud, and abuse of our website and enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions on our behalf. If you do not agree to receive promotional materials, we will keep the data only for order processing and after sales support.

Here are the types of information we gather.

• Information you provide us: we receive and store information you enter on to our website or provided to us in another way. You can choose not to supply certain information however you may then be unable to take advantage of many website features. To place an order you must provide your billing and delivery addresses, email address and phone number. You can choose from a range of payment methods with some requiring your credit card, debit card or bank account information. We use the information you provide for purposes such as communicating with you, responding to your requests and improving our services.
• In case of a card transaction deemed to be high risk, we will require proof of the billing or delivery address for our security checks. This does not affect your statutory rights.
• We may also require additional commercial and/or identification information if a high-volume or high value order is placed, as may be required for Save Water Save Money to comply with anti-money laundering obligations under European law.
• When you access a website provided by Save Water Save Money using a mobile device, we may in addition collect and store device sign-on data (including device ID) and geo-location data in order to provide our services.
• Automatic information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many websites, we use "cookies" and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses our websites or advertisements and other content served by or on behalf of our or other websites.
• E-mail communications: To help us use e-mail communication more effectively, we may receive confirmation when you open an e-mail from Save Water Save Money, if your computer supports such capabilities.
• Information from other sources: We may receive information about you from other sources and add this to the account information. For example, we may receive data or information from some of our clients with a request to place an order for you or to conduct data analysis.

Our Use and Disclosure of Information

Data security is an important part of our business and we do not sell data to third parties. Save Water Save Money shares customer information only as described below and ensures that other parties involved follow as a minimum the practices introduced by us.

• Affiliated Businesses we do not control: We work closely with affiliated businesses. In some cases we provide services and/or sell product lines jointly with or on behalf of these businesses. We have a range of co-branded websites with joint offerings and services. When a third party is involved in your order, this can be identified by the url address and the third party logo clearly placed in the top left corner of each website page. We share customer information related to the order with that third party for data analysis purposes only.
• Third Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples of this includes but is not limited too; fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail, sending e-mails, data analysis, marketing assistance, website analysis services (including paid listings and links), payment processing and customer service. Third party service providers have access to limited personal information required in order to perform their functions, but cannot use this information for any other purposes. Furthermore, they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable data protection laws.
• Promotional Offers: We may send offers to selected groups of Save Water Save Money customers on behalf of our clients. We will only do this when you have agreed to receive promotional data from that organisation. We also send a monthly newsletter with promotional information included. We only send such marketing information if you have agreed for us to do so, or requested such information.
• Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we may buy or sell subsidiaries or business units. In such transactions, customer information may be one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the conditions of pre-existing Privacy Policies, (unless the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that all assets of Save Water Save Money are acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.
• Protection of Save Water Save Money and Others: We will release information such as account details and personal information where we believe is appropriate to; comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions of Use and other agreements; protect the rights, property or safety of Save Water Save Money or that of our clients, customers, website users or other parties. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. This does not include selling, renting, sharing or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in a way that is contrary to the commitments made in this Privacy Policy.
• With your consent: Other than what is already disclosed within this Privacy Policy, you will receive notice when information about you may go to third parties and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share this information.
